Roller Coaster

Hi there, it’s Matt.  Hey, I have a quick question for you.

Why is it that salespeople often find themselves in slumps?  You know, the kind of slumps that feel like a huge roller coaster ride.

You and I both know that most people’s sales results are anything but routine and predictable.  Unless that result is a big, fat donut!

I spent a number of years trying to talk myself into a mindset that would keep me from getting mentally unraveled by the high highs and the low lows.

It was exhausting.

I would come into every new week wondering if that week was going to be awesome or if I had to start rehearsing what I would say to my manager if my deals didn’t come in.

Then one day, I made a HUGE discovery.  A discovery that eliminated that huge roller coaster experience I got stuck on.  One that gave me highly predictable results…and MORE SALES.

So what changed?  Was it a new script?  Better leads?  Working more hours?  Maybe even a better attitude?

Not even close.  It was something small but powerful that infected the best methods that I was using.  What was it?

NEEDINESS.

When you mix any productive sales tactic with neediness, you get rejection…over and over again.

It doesn’t have to be this way.

Check out this short lesson on what causes this insidious parasite and how to get off the roller coaster…FOREVER!

Check it out here.

When you’re done, let me know any questions you have or what you think.

To your freedom,
