I know a lot of us spend time networking as part of our job or business.  Done right, it get be very beneficial.  But I see a lot of people out networking who spend all of their energy trying to convince people how good their product is or how great of a person they are to work with.

But there is one huge inherent problem with this approach.  A problem that completely sabotages their efforts.

They come off needy.  Really needy.  In the effort to put themselves in the best light, they end up cheapening themselves.

So if that doesn’t work, what does?
